Samples to gain inspiration from
Hands-on practice translating natural shapes, symbols, and forms into your own marks on the page, at your own pace

This workshop is for anyone curious about weaving, whether you've dabbled before or never touched a loom. Either way, it's been created to explore the beautiful art of weaving at any level, surrounded by others in the community who share that same curiosity.
What is covered
Hands-on practice setting up and weaving on a frame loom, creating your own design at your own pace
Samples to gain inspiration from
Introduction to different weaving techniques
What's included
Yarn and fibres to work with, you’re welcome to bring any with you from home too
All tools and supplies needed to create your own woven piece
Tea/coffee and snacks
A warm, inviting space and relaxed environment
Guidance and assistance from Sara (sita studio)
All you need is your curiosity and a willingness to learn. If you catch the weaving bug and want to keep going at home, looms will be available to purchase at the end for the wholesale price of $30
